PALS -Physical Activity for Lifelong Success

Improve walking speed and improve walking distance.  Become less sedentary and learn how to become more active.   Learn how to continue these practices as a lifestyle with additional 30 minutes classes per week. Meets weekly for 1-hour 3x per week for 10 weeks.  For age 60+.   Next Class Starts September 9th, 2024.


Stepping On

Learn simple strength and balance exercises to help prevent future falls. Interact with guest experts on fall-related topics such as vision, medication side effects, footwear, home safety, winter weather, community safety, vitamin D and calcium intake, and many more. Meets weekly for 2 hours for 7 weeks.  For age 60+.   Next class starts September 10th, 2024.


Planning Ahead

Planning AHEAD is an end-of-life planning curriculum for all ages developed by UW–Madison Division of Extension faculty and staff. This 7-session research-based program will help participants understand how to prepare for the end of life for themselves or a loved one, and why it’s important to have a plan in place. Next class starts September 10th.



Boost Your Brain and Memory

Boost Your Brain & Memory is a brain health program that focuses on a variety of lifestyle factors that impact brain health, and on memory strategies that participants can implement in their daily lives. Boost Your Brain & Memory offers a unique, whole-person approach to brain fitness.   Open to any age.  Next class starts September 4th, 2024.
